Thomas Tuchel, the current manager of the major German club Borussia Dortmund, would be the perfect replacement for current Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Dortmund are not having the best Bundesliga campaign at the moment, but that can mostly be attributed to the vast number of youth players in the first team. Dortmund have an exciting, fast-paced attacking style and have banged in 43 goals in 21 games during the current campaign while developing a lot of young stars.
Acquiring the Dortmund manager at Arsenal would likely help bring some young Dortmund players along with him to North London. Dortmund, like Arsenal, hace been very successful in sourcing highly rated young players at the club and allowing them to express themselves on the field.
Here are some young Dortmund stars who could follow Tuchel to Arsenal:
RM) Ousmane Dembele
Ousmane Dembele, 19, is a tricky winger who is touted as the next big star, and he has already made a huge impact at the German club. In 13 Bundesliga appearances, with seven of them being starts, Dembele has notched five goals and eisn’t assists. In seven Champions League appearances, Dembele has recorded one goal and five assists (via WhoScored.)
ST) Emre Mor
Emre Mor, 19, is a very exciting young prospect with dribbling skills and quickness which are extremely impressive for a player of his age. He has already made 4 starts for the black and yellow giants, and he has registered 1 goal and 2 assists in those games according to WhoScored.
CDM) Julian Weigl
Julian Weigl, 21, is a promising young center defensive midfielder who has made 18 Bundesliga and six UEFA Champions League appearances for Borussia Dortmund. Arsenal thought they solidified the CDM poisition when they signed tactician and excellent passer of the ball, Granit Xhaka. However, this was not the case as Xhaka has shown time and time again to make rash decisions which cost the Gunners. Weigl could be the player Arsenal have been looking for in the CDM position.
Here are some established stars who could follow Tuchel to Arsenal:
LM) Marco Reus
It seems like every year Arsenal is linked with the German international star, but whether it be his injury concerns, Dortmund asking for an absurd amount of money for him, or Reus simply not wanting to come, bringing Tuchel to Arsenal definitely would give the North London club a better chance of acquiring his signature. Reus is definitely an established star player who, when healthy, could start in any team in the world. Signing a player with his quality would definitely give Arsenal a great chance of winning the Premier League.
ST) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Aubameyang is without a doubt one of the best strikers in the world at the moment. He won the African player of the year for 2016, and has 17 goals in 19 Bundesliga games this season. Last season, he finished the Bundesliga campaign with 25 goals and 5 assists in 28 starts according to ESPN FC. Bringing the Gabon international to Arsenal would be a signing on the level of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Tuchel’s contract with Dortmund expires in 2018 and he is no rush to sign a new one according to Goal. The 6’4″ German speaks basically perfect English, has a great system of developing young players, and believes in a beautiful exciting brand of futbol and this would all fit Arsenal perfectly.
