Arsenal v Bayern Munich [Predicted Lineups] – Wenger To Cave And Bring Alexis Sanchez Back In

Arsenal take on Bayern Munich this evening hoping to restore some pride and maybe even a few goals to the scoreline in London. The 5-1 first leg defeat has all but made progression an impossibility for Arsene Wenger on what could be his last European match in charge of the club.

Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up:

GK) David Ospina

Despite rumours linking the Colombian with a move away from the club, we predict a start for David Ospina. The 28-year-old has started every Champions League match so far this season and we don’t think that will change.

RB) Hector Bellerin

The Spaniard should start again. Hector Bellerin had a tough afternoon against Liverpool at the weekend but put in a good performance the last time Bayern Munich came to town. He’ll be hoping for a repeat.

CB) Laurent Koscielny

Laurent Koscielny will start and captain the side. The Frenchman went off injured in Munich and the score was still 1-1. The Gunners collapsed shortly after making many Arsenal fans wonder what would have happened if Koscielny had remained healthy.

CB) Shkodran Mustafi

With the injury to Mesut Özil, Shkodran Mustafi should be the only German to start for the Gunners tonight. The centre-back had a tough second-half in the first leg and will be hoping for a more comfortable evening.

LB) Nacho Monreal

Nacho Monreal should start at left-back. The Spaniard was replaced by Kieran Gibbs for the first leg clash but after starting at Liverpool should keep his place.
