Ozil To Reject New £200,000-Per-Week Arsenal Deal


Arsenal fear Mesut Ozil will reject the club’s latest £200,000-per-week contract offer and are now willing to listen to offers for the Germany international, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims Ozil has been offered a new and improved deal but is stalling although talks are continuing between both the player and club.

Arsenal are willing to sell Ozil if he does not extend his deal to avoid him leaving for free next summer when his contract expires.

The Daily Mail also claim that Arsenal could be set for a summer exodus with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, Lucas Perez, David Ospina and Alexis Sanchez all ready to quit the club.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been a rare bright spot in recent weeks, is believed to be considering his future and is expected to be in demand should he decide to leave with Liverpool, Manchester United and City all reportedly admirers.

The midfielder could be joined by Wilshere with Arsenal yet to start contract talks with the England international who is currently enjoying a loan spell with Bournemouth.

Lucas Perez and David Ospina have both been linked with moves away with the duo reportedly frustrated with a lack of game time at Arsenal and ready to seek regular __football elsewhere.

Sanchez’s future, meanwhile, has been well-documented and recent events suggest there is now little chance of him staying at the club past the end of this season.

There seems very little good news around for Arsenal fans at the moment, after a string of awful results and rumours of discontent in the dressing room. However, Saturday’s clash against Lincoln gives the club the chance to get back to winning ways and book their spot in the last four of the FA Cup before they return to Premier League action.
