JERMAINE JENAS believes Arsenal want Alexis Sanchez to leave after the forward was dropped for this evening's clash with Liverpool.
Sanchez has been the standout player for Arsenal this season, with 17 Premier League goals.
But the Chilean was overlooked for the clash at Anfield by Arsene Wenger, with Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck both starting.
And former Tottenham midfielder Jenas wasn't impressed with the decision.
“Sanchez has to play," Jenas said.
"I mean the only thing I can think of is he might have picked up a little knock in training or something like that.
“He’s their best player, the most important player they’ve got.

“Welbeck I can understand why you bring him in to this type of game and Giroud I can understand but to not play Sanchez their must be some issue.
“If you want a player to leave then you put him on the bench in one of the biggest games you’ve got this season.
"It’s a ridiculous decision.”
