ARSENAL legend Lauren has compared Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal’s all-time leading goalscorer Thierry Henry.
Lauren played with Henry, who has 228 goals for Arsenal, during his time in north London.
And the former right-back has compared current Gunners star Sanchez to his former team-mate.
Alexis Sanchez has been in fine form this season, and already has 15 goals for Arsenal.
But his future at the Emirates is in doubt as he is yet to sign a new deal with the club.
“If you watch him, he plays every game like it’s his last game,” Lauren told the Daily Mirror.
“He runs at defenders, he’s always looking for space behind defences, he comes deep to get the ball, he always gives 100 per cent. He’s so committed.

“This is why we need him at Arsenal, he’s been brilliant. People say the manager makes the difference with players but sometimes it’s the players. Sanchez has the same level of commitment in every game that he plays.
“What happened to Thierry Henry was that he wanted to be the best player every single day of his life. In training, the FA Cup, Premier League, League Cup and Champions League.
“You can see the same parallel with Alexis, definitely. You can see some leaders in that way. Definitely Alexis is one of them. He never gives up.”
