OLIVIER GIROUD produced a moment of brilliance as Arsenal kicked off 2017 with a comfortable win against Crystal Palace this afternoon.
Giroud scored a sublime goal that evoked memories of Henrikh Mkhitaryan's recent goal for Manchester United against Sunderland, as they beat the Eagles 2-0 at the Emirates.
The Frenchman has struggled to curry favour under Arsene Wenger this term, but he reminded everyone what he is capable of.
Arsenal were dominant from the first whistle and Giroud netted the opener after 17 minutes.
