Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Gonzalo Castro says he is honoured by reports linking him with Bayern Munich.
Castro, 27, is under contract at Leverkusen until the summer of 2016, but reportedly has a €12 million release clause which expires at the end of May.
He was linked with Bayern last summer, and his availability at a cut-price has led to fresh speculation.
Speaking to Sport Bild on Wednesday, the Leverkusen star said. "The interest honours me. FC Bayern Munich belong to the biggest clubs in the world."

Though primarily a holding midfielder, he can also play in both full-back positions.
Sport Bild did stress that the player had not ruled out staying at Leverkusen, with contract talks having begun last week.
In March, he told kicker that this summer represents his last chance to make a switch to a major club. "As you get older you have fewer alternatives," he said.
