With the current Arsenal team playing at an unbelievable level and looking unstoppable at times; the Arsenal bench boasting of the likes of Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky, and Danny Welbeck; with good players including Jack Wilshere, Abou Diaby, and Mikel Arteta back from injury while Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who are currently injured quite excellent players, what does that mean for the current players on loan?
Wenger has a certain fondness for Yaya Sanogo that reminds me of a certain Lord Bendtner despite the young striker having failed to win over the Arsenal fans. Currently on loan at Crystal Palace, he has thrived after getting regular football under his belt. With a lanky build similar to Danny Welbeck with the same work ethic, he definitely has a future at Arsenal as his attributes are exactly what Wenger is looking for in his players.
Carl Jenkinson has been a revelation for West Ham with his defensive attributes improving immensely while his crossing ability has allowed him to grab a couple of assists along the way but rather than improving his chances of forging a career at Arsenal, it has only upped his transfer fee meaning he is more likely to remain at West Ham.
Lukas Podolski is the antithesis of what Arsene Wenger is looking for despite his eye for goal and a strong left foot. His low work ethic meant he was unable to force his way into the team earlier in the season despite an injury crisis that left Arsenal without an out and out striker. His current loan spell at Inter Milan has not gone so well facing the same criticism from his current coach Mancini who has insisted he needs to work harder. He most likely will be sold when he gets back from loan.
Joel Campbell is a curious case. He has fought so hard to get his chance at Arsenal enduring countless loan spells and despite finally getting a work permit he has being shipped out to Villareal albeit after signing a new long term contract. I am hoping he makes it at Arsenal because his attitude has always being spot on never letting his head drop.
