Inter Milan interested in Yaya Toure and Stevan Jovetic - Piero Ausilio

Yaya Toure and Stevan Jovetic could be targeted by Inter Milan this summer.

Inter Milan's sporting director Piero Ausilio has reaffirmed his club's interest in Yaya Toure while revealing that his Manchester City teammate Stevan Jovetic is also a target.

Inter are looking at ways to finance a move for Toure -- -- and that is proving to be difficult with the unlikelihood of them playing in Europe next season.

Nevertheless, Ausilio has not given up hope of providing Mancini with the tools he would like to work with next season.

"It's nice to have dreams and the idea is to realise them," Ausilio told . "I'm seriously working on something which I hope becomes reality. Yaya Toure may be keen on trying out a new league, but he's happy at City also so it's going to be difficult.

"Jovetic is a great player who did well in Italy. He's talented and has quality. He's no spring chicken, but he's fully matured and has a lot to give. But he too belongs to a big club who like to buy rather than sell."

With Mancini, though, Ausilio believes Inter have a coach who can attract many players to the club who might not normally consider a move to Inter.

"He's got charisma and is respected," Ausilio said. "He's done well wherever he's been so he's the sort of person who can talk to top international players without any sense of inferiority."

Even if Mancini can convince top players to join, that is only one step towards completing any transfers this summer.

Inter, who the next time they qualify for Europe, can only spend as much as they recoup on the transfer market this summer.

"Without the Champions League, we're going to have to finance our transfers ourselves," Ausilio said.

"We'll have to sell if we want to buy, focusing on quality signings. We'd like to keep hold of [Samir] Handanovic, [Mateo] Kovacic and [Mauro] Icardi. Maybe we will sacrifice somebody who's out on loan or, regrettably, some youngsters."
