Geoffrey Kondogbia's agent has claimed the Monaco midfielder is being pursued by "big names" ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and newly-crowned English champions Chelsea have all been linked with Kondogbia, 22, who featured heavily in his club's surprise run to the Champions League quarterfinals.
Last week, reported that an unnamed Premier League side is ready to offer €35 million for the midfielder.
His representative Jonathan Mareek confirmed to that Kondogbia is being courted by some European heavyweights, but that he will not swap his first-team place at Monaco to become a mere squad member elsewhere.
"We're being approached by big clubs. They are big names," said Mareek, whose client signed a five-year contract upon arriving at Monaco in 2013. "We will have the lucidity to make the right choice. We won't go and sit on a bench."
Though a thigh injury sidelined him for two months either side of Christmas, Kondogbia has established himself alongside captain Jeremy Toulalan in Leonardo Jardim's midfield, helping his club remain in contention for Champions League qualification with a top-three finish.
His displays have also earned him an international recall as he featured in France's friendlies with Brazil and Denmark in March, playing for his country 19 months after making his senior debut for Les Bleus.
"I have taken a step up. I have had some good games recently, but it's nothing extraordinary," Kondogbia . "The most important thing is to be rigourous.
"That's the key to remaining at the very top level. You have to be consistent and work hard humbly. Talent will do the rest."
Monaco are and have their European squad sizes limited for upcoming seasons after breaching financial fair play rules, with the Ligue 1 club to pay €13 million.
