Ozil out wide, Ramsey to sit deeper: Predicted lineup v Burnley

Arsene Wenger will almost certainly name an unchanged, full strength lineup against Burnley this weekend after comfortably dispatching Liverpool last weekend – a visit to Turf Moor is never easy.

The main doubt is Laurent Koscielny  who is struggling with a thigh injury sustained against Liverpool, forcing his withdrawal halfway through. Arsene Wenger believes the scan was positive and he should be available.

The impending return of Mathieu Debuchy is also a threat to Hector Bellerin’s starting berth, however after just recovering from a lengthy spell on the sidelines and given Bellerin’s superb form it is likely Wenger will stick with the 20-year-old.

Between the sticks we’ve gone for David Ospina with the aforementioned Bellerin lining up alongside Per Mertesacker, Koscielny (if fit, or else Gabriel) with Nacho Monreal on the left.

Francis Coquelin continues at the heart of the midfield with Aaron Ramsey our choice in the box-to-box role. Wenger opted to play the Welshman wider than usual on Saturday and he may repeat that decision again tomorrow.

Santi Cazorla gets the nod through the middle with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez forming the formidable attacking trio. Olivier Giroud gets the nod up front.

This leaves the likes of Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott, the newly fit Jack Wilshere, Gabriel, Wojiech Szczesny, Kieran Gibbs and Calum Chambers on the bench – not a half bad substitutes bench at all. But it means the likes of Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby will potentially miss out. So this is what it feels like to have a full squad!
