It seems as though these reports hold some weight, with the player recently speaking on his impending move, revealing that he is currently undergoing preparation for when he eventually arrives in London.
“I have to keep preparing to go to England, I have two years to do so,” the teenage sensation was quoted as saying in the .
“Roly (his agent) had a conversation with my family and I was present. It’s more likely I go with my family… because I’m too young to go to another country to live alone.
“I don’t know it, I can’t speak English, I’m learning.”
His qualities are unknown and it would be quite difficult to find some detailed commentary on the teenager, but at €6m, Arsene Wenger must’ve surely seen something special.
Our record when signing youngsters from South America isn’t exactly formidable, let’s hope Romero doesn’t turn out to be another Samuel Galindo or Wellington Silva.
