Ajax sign Arkadiusz Milik from Bayer Leverkusen on permanent deal

Arkadiusz Milik has scored 23 goals in 33 matches for Ajax this season.

Ajax have made Arkadiusz Milik's loan move from Bayer Leverkusen permanent, with the striker signing a deal until 2019.

Milik, 21, joined Leverkusen from Gornik Zabrze in January 2013 for a reported fee of €2.5 million, but failed to make an impact in his first six months at the club after being dubbed "the new Robert Lewandowski."

Following just six appearances for the Bundesliga side, the Poland international was loaned to Augsburg last season, before joining Ajax on loan for the current campaign.
