Eddie Howe believes Jack Wilshere is primed for an England recall.
The Arsenal midfielder – on a season-long loan at Bournemouth – missed out on the last two Three Lions squads, having been dropped following the Euro 2016 debacle.
But Howe backs Wilshere to add to his 34 England caps – and soon.
“He’s one of the top technical midfielders in the country without a shadow of a doubt,” said the Cherries chief, ahead of Saturday's home game against Hull . “If he’s fit and firing he has to be high on their list.
“My most important aim is he performs well and makes a difference to this team like I know he can.
“If he can do that, and concentrate on his form here, then the rest will follow.
"If he’s selected, he will do a job. I’ve no doubt about that. The quality is there.
“Making sure he can perform to his best levels physically is what we’re trying to help him with.
"Games is what he needs.”
England, who scored just two goals in 180 minutes against Malta and Slovenia this month, play Scotland in a World Cup qualifier at Wembley on November 11, then host Spain there in a friendly four days later.
