Arsenal and Manchester United could battle it out for the signature of a highly-rated Benfica right-back, according to O Jogo.
The Premier League giants are both reportedly chasing Nelson Semedo after scouting him for the duration of this season so far.
Semedo, 22, has a release clause of £40million in his contract at the Estadio Da Luz and still has five years left to run on that deal, meaning he won't come cheap.
Arsenal are reportedly considering Semedo in case Hector Bellerin is lured away by Barcelona or Manchester City.
Meanwhile, United are likely to need a new full-back with Matteo Darmian set to leave the club.
Odds slashed on Aguero joining
The odds of Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero moving to Arsenal have been slashed, according to the London Evening Standard.
Bookmakers believe that Aguero's exit from the Etihad is increasingly likely after the striker was left out of the Champions League starting XI to face Barcelona earlier this month.
And Arsenal is one of the clubs that have reportedly been touted as a possible destination.
Seems unlikely, but the price is dropping.
£200k Ozil talks "moving along"
Arsene Wenger has confirmed contract talks with Mesut Ozil are "moving along" - but a deal is yet to formally be agreed, writes Mirror Football's Ben Burrows.
Ozil, 27, knows his market value has rarely been higher after a superb start to the season as he seeks a bumper rise from his current £140,000-a-week deal which expires in 2018.
Arsenal are likely to come to an agreement around the £200,000-a-week mark but Mirror Sport understands that, while the club remain confident he will sign, a final agreement has yet to be reached.
When quizzed during his weekly press conference Wenger was understandably cagey but did suggest a deal was edging closer.
"There is nothing really concrete enough to talk about," he said. "It is moving along."
Wenger lays down the law to Sanchez
Arsene Wenger has told Alexis Sanchez he is not a “special case” and the Arsenal manager will decide when to substitute him, writes Mirror Football's Neil McLeman.
The Chilean star reacted stroppily to being replaced in the recent wins over Swansea and Ludogorets.
Wenger said Gunners medical staff test “the fatigue level of everyone” and he decided Sanchez needed careful handling after playing two recent World Cup qualifiers in South America.
And the Frenchman insisted: “For me he is not a special case. He is a player like everybody else. When I decide to take him off, I take him off.
“There is no special case. He has his own character but he is not treated differently from everybody else.
"They all recognise it after the game but during the game they want to stay on the pitch. You want to play even when you are tired.
“I tested Sanchez because he played two games in South America. Sometimes I rest him straight away after. I played him the other day against Swansea so I thought I would take him off when it is possible. We consider every case individually.”
Gunners better WITH Giroud, says Jenas
Arsenal are a better side when Olivier Giroud plays, according to Jermain Jenas, writes Mirror Football's Jack Rathborn.
Arsene Wenger gave the France international an extended break after Euro 2016, but the 28-year-old struggled to return to the line-up and recently suffered a toe injury.
The Gunners have accomplished an eight-game win streak without Giroud starting and sit joint-top of the Premier League.
"Every season there is a worry, 'what if Coquelin gets injured?' or 'what if Giroud gets injured?'" Jenas said on BBC 5 live.

"Last week they completely changed their centre-midfield, they went from Xhaka to Elneny - Cazorla played there the week before. Coquelin came in [too].
"They've got the ability to do that now. I still think they're better with Giroud in the team.
"Only because he allows Sanchez, Iwobi, Walcott, Ozil - the three behind him - to play a lot better with him as a focal point."
