Arsenal Could Move For Real Madrid Star

Arsenal could be a possible destination for unsettled Real Madrid star Isco who may leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season, according to Diario Madridista.

The 24-year-old has struggled for game time for los Blancos under Zinedine Zidane this season and will reportedly not be offered a new contract at the club. Isco’s current deal expires in 2018 and he is not expected to be short of suitors.

Former club Malaga are reportedly set to express an interest but a move to the Premier League is also a possibility with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City all keen.

Isco has admitted this week he will look to leave the club if he continues to struggle for game time although he ruled out a January move and insisted he would wait until the end of the season.

The Real Madrid star also admitted he would be interested in a move to England to play in the Premier League.

Isco has barely featured for Madrid this season and was whistled by supporters on Sunday when he made a substitute appearance in their 1-1 draw with Eibar at the Bernabeu.

The Spaniard has been at the club for three years but has failed to nail down a regular place in the starting line-up in that time and if he is serious about wanting regular __football then a move away at the end of the season looks the most likely outcome.

While Isco’s talent is without question, it is evident he has failed to reach his potential at Real Madrid. Whether Arsenal are seriously interested remains to be seen and with Mesut Ozil around he is unlikely to be first choice at the Emirates. For a player who appears to be wanting regular football, that suggests a move to the Arsenal is unlikely.
