[Predicted Lineup] Sunderland v Arsenal – Top Scorer Set To Miss Out

Arsenal take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon and Wenger’s men could be without a host of first-team players. There will be late fitness tests for Nacho Monreal, Santi Cazorla, and Theo Walcott ahead of the clash.

Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up:

GK) Petr Cech

It has been quite a while since an Arsenal goalkeeper played two consecutive games now but Petr Cech should return on Saturday. The Czech stopper was excellent against Middlesbrough last weekend but I’m sure Arsenal fans will be hoping he has a quieter game against Sunderland.

RB) Hector Bellerin

The Spaniard should come back into the starting lineup. As impressive as Carl Jenkinson was during his first match back for the Gunners in midweek, Hector Bellerin is still undoubtedly the first choice right back.

CB) Laurent Koscielny

The Frenchman should come back in and captain the side on Saturday. Laurent Koscielny continues to impress for the Gunners alongside his defensive partner and will hope for another clean sheet on Saturday.

CB) Shkodran Mustafi

Shkodran Mustafi has struck up quite the partnership with Laurent Koscielny and should keep his place on Saturday. The Germany international continues to impress at the Emirates.

LB) Kieran Gibbs

With the knock picked up by Nacho Monreal, we expect Kieran Gibbs to come into the starting lineup. The Englishman played in midweek and is a readymade replacement for Monreal in that position.
