Tottenham fans' Dele Alli chant features cheeky dig at Arsenal's Mesut Ozil

First thing's first. Before we are set upon by furious West Ham fans, let us confirm the chant you can see above has been nicked off The Hammers, who have been singing a Dimitri Payet version of this song all season.

However, this particular chant has nothing to do with east London. This one is all about the battle of north London.

Inspired by their "friends" at Upton Park, Arsenal fans have been belting out this very specific ditty about Mesut Ozil:

"We've got Ozil, Mesut Ozil, I just don't think you understand. He's Arsene Wenger's man, He's better than Zidane, We've got Mesut Ozil."

The bit about being better than Zizou aside, it's all pretty innocent and harmless… even if they did nick it.

Now Tottenham fans have also hijacked the tune and come up with their own interpretation, which celebrates their love of Dele Alli. And as you can see above, while it shows their adoration for the England wonderkid, they've also managed to work in a pop at Arsenal's Assist King.

"Out of my way, old man!"

In case you can't quite understand the (slightly rowdy) chanting in the video, the lyrics are:

"We've got Alli,

"Dele Alli,

"I just don't think you understand.

"He only cost 5 mill,

"He's better than Ozil,

"We've got Dele Alliiiiiiii…"

Cheeky, huh?

*waits for Arsenal fans to react in typically calm and composed fashion*
