ARSENE WENGER insists Arsenal can fight for the Premier League title this season after going top with a 3-1 win over Stoke this afternoon.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have shared the top spot this season but Arsenal sent a timely reminder that they will also be in the hunt for the Premier League title.
Charlie Adam put Stoke ahead from the penalty spot but goals from Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi secured all three points for the Gunners.
They moved level on points with Chelsea while Liverpool and Manchester City are currently four points behind them.

And Arsene Wenger sent a message to his players to keep up their good league form to challenge for the title come May.
"We are there for the fight and we have been consistent after the first game," said Wenger.

Walcott scored his 10th goal in all competitions and his 100th in an Arsenal shirt and Wenger paid credit to how the winger has transformed his game over the past few years.
“His main quality is the combative side to his game and that changes you as a player, he is more resolute, determined and you can see he wins more balls back than ever before.
"I have the luxury of top quality on the bench, but in fairness you look at the bench of everybody in the Premier League and it is quite impressive."
