Arsene Wenger has named his side for the Champions League match against FC Basel this evening and there are more than a few surprises. The Gunners will need to better PSG’s result against Ludogorets in order to top Group A but they’ll have to do it without Shkodran Mustafi who has been dropped to the bench.

David Ospina returns in goals but he’ll play behind a brand new back four. Gabriel Paulista and Laurent Koscielny keep their places but Arsene Wenger has handed a first Champions League start to Rob Holding. The former-Bolton man comes into the centre with Kieran Gibbs coming in at left-back.
In midfield, Granit Xhaka keeps his place and will play alongside Aaron Ramsey. Mesut Özil and Alexis Sanchez both start and the star men are joined by Alex Iwobi and Lucas Perez.
