Marco Reus is on Arsenal's radar if they cannot agree new contracts with Mesut Ozil or Alexis Sanche

Reus, 27, has missed most of the season due to an injury but has been impressive since his return to the side.

Reus has scored four goals in six games and provided four assists, although he was sent off in the 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim this weekend.

Atletico Madrid striker Antonie Griezmann has revealed Laurent Koscielny has been trying to convince him to join Arsenal.

The two are France team-mates and Griezmann admits that while Koscielny has been trying to get him to make the switch he’s happy in Madrid.

He said: ”I have just had a little girl, I play my games, I'm good. Sorry, I'm going to stay. But Arsenal are a good team, they play good football."

He added: "I'm so good at Atletico. Honestly, I don't see myself leaving.

"People often talk to me about England too, but I'm good here. And also, going from Atletico to Real must be difficult. I don't necessarily have the desire to try, nor to ask those who have already done it. No, I'm not thinking about it.

"For Arsenal, he [Koscielny] speaks to me about it often.

"But I'm good in Madrid. I don't want to leave. I'm happy here.”

After Arsenal's defeat to Manchester City this weekend, Gunners fans are once again calling for Arsene Wenger to be sacked

Mesut Ozil is missing Santi Cazorla’s presence in midfield, according to Ray Parlour.

Ozil has struggled in recent weeks and was really poor against Manchester City on Sunday.

And former Arsenal midfielder Parlour thinks he is missing Cazorla pulling the strings behind him.

“Ozil is not a player who will run back into midfield and make a tackle or try and get back on the ball,” he said.

"He relies on people controlling midfield - Cazorla is very good - he dictates possession and he can link up a bit better with Ozil.”
