Twitter Reacts to Arsenal’s Very Late Victory At Turf Moor

For the past two matches, Arsenal have scored in the opening minutes and carried on for the rest of the match earning themselves a comfortable victory but it was a very different story at Turf Moor.

Burnley gave Arsenal a tough time making it difficult to sear through their defence for the entire 90 minutes. The Gunners undefeated record wasn’t in danger seeing the home side didn’t find the net either but the visitors were losing out on a fifth consecutive victory in the Premier League.

Returning home with a single point from the game was a terrifying thought to conclude from the match seeing Wenger wouldn’t get to celebrate a win to mark his 20th year anniversary, not to mention closing the gap on Manchester City.

Wenger’s side kept trying to find space for the one goal that could give them a favourable result, and just moments before the final whistle the Gunners hit it home. A shot by Oxlade Chamberlain deflected off Laurent Koscielny’s elbow to ‘hand’ Arsenal their late victory.

The Clarets shouted for offside, handball and amidst all the controversy, the North London side won the match 1-0.

Here are reactions from Twitter over the late drama that took place at Turf Moor.

It all started late, but the party finally started with Koscielny’s goal.
