Arsenal and Spurs Battle For Portuguese Winger

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are just two of a number of top clubs interested in Portuguese winger Bruma. The 21-year-old has shined for Galatasaray this season and has just 18 months left on his current contract (via Squawka).

Arsenal’s wingers may be on top form right now but it seems that the club is still making plans for the future. Scouts have been sent to Turkey to keep tabs on Galatasaray winger Bruma.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad but didn’t really set La Liga alight. This season has been different. Bruma has two goals and three assists in his six Turkish Super Lig matches so far. The winger is known for his pace and trickery and is a little different to the other wide players at the Emirates right now.

It’s thought that Galatasaray are trying to agree on a new contract with Bruma but could let the winger leave in January if that does not happen. A price of £20 million is quoted for the man who is currently playing alongside former Gunners man Lukas Podolski. Perhaps the German can convince Bruma to choose Arsenal over their North London rivals should the Gunners make a move.
