The Gunners have started the season in fine fashion, and they are well on course to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League after thrashing Ludogorets 6-0 last night.

But off the pitch, there appear to be underlying concerns.

According to the Daily Mail, supporters and shareholders are set to quiz chief executive Gazidis over his £2.65m salary.

It is believed the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust have prepared questions in advance and they are desperate to find out what Gazidis did to warrant a £1m bonus which was included in his annual package.

The report suggests the meeting will be held on a Monday to suit owner Stan Kroenke’s schedule.

In the past, fans have had gripes with Arsene Wenger and his seeming lack of activity in the transfer market.

But with the Gunners joint top of the Premier League table, Gazidis will have to tackle the disgruntled shareholders.
