Arsenal earned a vital win in west London against relegation threatened Queens Park Rangers.

After a timid first half and with most of the chances coming by way of the home side, we sprung into life after the break.

The likes of Tomas Rosicky, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez weaved their magic as the quality told in the end.

A goal in the dying embers of the game by Charlie Austin set hearts racing but we eventually held on.

Olivier Giroud continued his scoring run in recent weeks after he bundled home the ball after a scrap in the six yard box.

Kieran Gibbs’ effort was blocked and Giroud fired home…

Alexis Sanchez should’ve doubled the lead moments later after finding himself alone with Robert Green, but hesitated as the ‘keeper blocked his pass.

The Chilean didn’t have to wait long for his goal though after a wonderful individual effort.

Cruising in the game, we should’ve really ended in a third goal from Mesut Ozil, but in typical fashion we let QPR back in the game.

Charile Austin crashed in from distance which could’ve be dealt with better by David Ospina.
