Ramsey linked with massive £50m Man United switch

Aaron Ramsey is being heavily linked with an Arsenal exit this summer, with new Manchester United boss apparently planning a massive £50m bid for the Welshman.

The Welshman has been superb during the Euros, scoring the opening goal in his side’s 2-1 win over Russia; a win that saw Wales top the group ahead of England.

Mourinho has taken notice of Ramsey’s form, and will apparently attempt to lure the 25-year-old to Old Trafford this summer.

At this early stage you can still get fantastic odds on Ramsey making the switch to Man United on some of the world’s best betting apps, but that could change if we get more concrete news.

The Portuguese manager is reportedly planning wholesale changes at United, and one of his top targets is Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan. He looks set to miss out on the Armenian though, and is therefore targeting Ramsey instead.

Arsene Wenger is unlikely to want to let Ramsey go, but there are a host of midfield options available to the Frenchman. Ramsey turned down a switch to Man United in favour of Arsenal when he was younger, but who knows what he’s thinking at this point in his career.

He’s talked before about eventually making a move away from Arsenal – albeit to Barcelona – so we probably can’t count on his complete loyalty.

The Euro 2016 star has enjoyed one season where he was among the best midfielders on the planet, but since then has failed to replicate the same form. He still seems to have the confidence and the ego that came with his success though, which isn’t always a good thing.

It would be a shame to see him go, but if he does stay then he needs to change his game a little.
