England travel to Italy to take on the side that has dented their chances in the last two major tournaments as Roy Hodgson’s side crashed out of Euro 2012 and the World Cup in disappointing fashion.

“I can only speak from experience but he was one of the most dangerous players I have ever played against.”

Walcott has had his back against the wall on many occasions throughout his short career and given his mental strength, he is no doubt set for a big return.

The flyer got a 13 minute run-out versus Lithuania on Friday evening, and it would be no surprise to see him starting against Antonio Conte’s men.
