Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has refused to rule out summer exits for Xavi Hernandez and Dani Alves.

According to , Xavi is poised to sign a three-year contract to join Qatari club Al Sadd at the end of the season.

The 35-year-old midfielder is set to receive a salary of €10 million and will study for his coaching licences during his time in Qatar, spurning proposals from Major League Soccer clubs.

Right-back Alves has also been linked with a Camp Nou exit, with the 31-year-old's agent that the Brazil international is close to signing for another club with his contract expiring this summer.

quotes Bartomeu as saying: "With regards to Xavi, let me repeat what I said last year. He will make his own decision and is under contract until next year, but if he feels he has to leave then he will have our full support.

"With regards to Alves, that is a planning matter and I can't comment. However, it's true that steps are being taken and wheels are in motion. News will be forthcoming, and not only about Dani Alves."

Alves is looking increasingly likely to leave the Camp Nou with his contract up this summer.

Bartomeu went on to assure Athletic Bilbao fans that they will be made to feel welcome at the Camp Nou following the news the Copa del Rey final between Barca and Athletic will be held at the Liga leaders' home ground.

"It was important for both sets of fans that it was played at a big stadium but on neutral ground," he said. "We asked to play the final at the Bernabeu, but the Real Madrid president told us it was not available.

"Barca's other preference was Mestalla and Athletic's was the Sanchez Pizjuan. Then I proposed the Camp Nou and Athletic offered San Mames. A final vote chose the Camp Nou, which is a huge stadium, although not neutral ground. We'll make the Athletic fans feel very much at home."

La Liga president Javier Tebas if Barcelona and Athletic fans whistle Spain's national anthem when it is played before kickoff.

The Catalan and Basque sides met in the 2012 decider, which is remembered by some for Spain's then-king Juan Carlos and the anthem being greeted by loud whistles from both sets of fans.
