Freddy Adu signs one-year deal with Finnish club Kuopion Palloseura

Freddy Adu has joined the 11th club of his career, signing a deal with Finnish top division outfit Kuopion Palloseura.

The former U.S. international, whose stop-start career has taken him around the world since he first came to prominence with MLS side DC United, has put pen to paper on a one-year contract.

Adu, whose most recent clubs include Bahia, in Brazil and Jagodina, in Serbia, had a trial with English Championship side Blackpool last year but was not taken on.

The 25-year-old's most recent cap for the U.S. -- his 17th overall -- came in 2011.
