AC Milan and Napoli are monitoring Olivier Giroud 's situation at Arsenal.
The Italian duo are both in the market for a striker in January and have Frenchman Giroud on their radars.
Giroud, 30, has started just once for Arsenal this season and seen Alexis Sanchez replace him as the Gunners' main striker.
He has 18 months left on his Arsenal deal and vowed to stay and fight for his place.
But he also admitted he is unhappy with his current situation giving his suitors hope.

“I see my future at Arsenal until the date my contract ends," he said this week.
“But I won’t lie, there have been times I’ve been disappointed and not happy with my situation.
“But the coach knows that. He’s the one who makes the choices. I’ll fight for my place.
“When I look from the stands at Arsenal, the team plays well and made a very good start to the championship, I tell myself that the train leaves without me and that I must not get too far behind.”
