Thierry Henry: Man Utd greats Giggs and Fergie should be engraved on Premier League trophy Manchester United v Arsenal combined XI

MANCHESTER UNITED legends Ryan Giggs and Sir Alex Ferguson deserve to have their names on the Premier League trophy, according to Thierry Henry.

Manchester United and Arsenal go head-to-head tomorrow at Old Trafford (12.30pm) in what could be a pivotal game for the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho's side are already eight points behind league leaders Liverpool and a defeat to the Gunners could put serious doubts over their title chances.

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech suggested this week the game would be make or break for United's season.

However, Gunners legend Henry thinks United shouldn't be written off yet as title contenders.

And the Frenchman admitted he always respected United in games he played and joked Giggs and Ferguson could have their names engraved on the Premier League trophy.

"The main word for me when I look at [Sir Alex Ferugson] or any Manchester United player I played against is 'respect'," Henry told Sky Sports.

"Sometimes the games between [Man Utd and Arsenal] were great, sometimes they were not at all.

"But there was always respect. I told Ryan Giggs that recently.

"The [Premier League] trophy should have his name on it. At least somewhere hidden inside, him and Giggs! They should hide it somewhere inside, they lifted that trophy so many times."

Giggs and Ferguson won the Premier League title on 13 occassions with United.
