Arsenal star Alex Iwobi pulled off an amazing piece of skill during Nigeria’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year-old audaciously flicked the ball over Saphir Taider during his side’s 3-1 win in Uyo as the Super Eagles picked up all three points.
It was a quite extraordinary moment, reminiscent of Ronaldinho or Neymar, and stunned and delighted spectators watching the game.

Iwobi played 75 minutes of the game before being replaced with goals from John Obi Mikel and a double from Victor Moses securing the win for the hosts.
The Arsenal youngster has enjoyed a fine start to the season having forced his way into Arsene Wenger’s side and that looks to be continuing on international duty.
Iwobi’s breakthrough into the first team has been another highlight of what has been a strong start to the season with the team currently unbeaten since the opening day.
The youngster’s father has also moved to reassure fans that his son is deeply committed to the Gunners, by insisted he would not be sign for Barcelona even if they offered a big-money deal.
While we might not get to see a repeat of Iwobi’s flick in the Premier League, it is another example of what a highly talented youngster the Gunners have on their books.
