ARSENE WENGER insists Alexis Sanchez is 100 per cent fit to face Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow night (7.45pm).
Sanchez suffered a “low-grade muscle” problem during international duty with Chile but played the entire 90 minutes in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
The 27-year-old was far from his best and there were suggestions Arsene Wenger rushed him back too soon at Old Trafford.
But the Arsenal manager said: “He has recovered completely. I never forced in my whole life a player to play. Suggestions we forced him to play are wrong.”
The Daily Mail reported yesterday that Wenger is planning to give Sanchez a winter break to ensure he’s in top form for the second-half of the season.
The Frenchman offered Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil time off during the winter last season.
And in response to the claims, Wenger said: “If I have the possibility I would like to give a winter to break to everyone.
“I just had a chance to do it with Ozil.”
