Harry Kane returned from injury to stop Arsenal in their tracks and said: Scoring against them feels better every time.
The Tottenham striker was thrown straight into the starting line-up after nearly two months out with an ankle problem, and stepped up to score a 51st-minute leveller from the penalty spot as the North London derby ended 1-1.
His strike preserved his side’s unbeaten league record and prevented the Gunners going top of the Premier League table.
Kane said: “I’ve scored a few goals against Arsenal now and they always get sweeter every time I score — especially in front of the away fans.
“The support was great again today, so I’m delighted. It was nicely slotted in. His [keeper Petr Cech] big leg nearly got there, but I was happy.”
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino denied it was a gamble to start Kane and says his return can help revive their form, which has now seen them fail to win in seven games in all competitions.
The Argentinian said: “We are professional about that. We are not amateur.
"If we take a decision like that, we know it’s not a gamble. We assess it every day.
“Harry had been working the last few weeks very hard on the training ground. When you decide to pick him, it’s because you believe he can do well.
“He missed 10 games in those few months, and he’s our main striker and last season’s top scorer in the Premier League, for us and everyone. So losing him was difficult.”
Pochettino admitted he was happy that his injury-hit side came away from the Emirates with a point against the high-flying Gunners.
He said: “The feeling is fantastic.
"I think we showed a strong performance, the whole team. I think it was a very competitive game, very good to watch. I am very happy and pleased with the performance.”

“There are many small problems, but now we have two weeks to recover the players.
"Competing in the Champions League and Premier League, two of the toughest competitions in the world, you need all the squad fit.
“We have suffered some issues, so maybe we can’t rotate in the way we want to give freshness and put the players in their best condition, so we have to use the same players.”
