Nobody predicted how close the race for the top four would be, and everyone claimed that Chelsea would have run away with the title by now.
However, with nine games remaining (ten for Chelsea), the Champions League spots are still very much up for grabs and we could be set for a close, nerve wracking, excitement filled end to the campaign.
Here is a list of the remaining fixtures for the current top seven teams, with estimated points totals and a final standing at the bottom of the page:

We all hope that Arsene Wenger can finally break his duck against Jose Mourinho, but it’s more than likely we’ll drop a couple of points against Chelsea.
Liverpool are in good form, but we will still be hopeful of a win at the Emirates. We’ve beaten Manchester United at Old Trafford once this season, but I reckon we’ll drop two points points against either United or Liverpool.
Four points dropped between Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United. 23 points gained between now and the end of the season.

Chelsea are in horrendous form at the moment, and while I’ve been quite generous with my points allocations here, if they continue in their current vein of form then they could easily drop down the table.
They have a relatively easy end to the season, and will also be concentrating on nothing but the league.
Unless they continue in their downward spiral I can’t see them dropping more than six points between now and the end of the season. 24 points between now and the final day.
With their current lead as well as a game in hand, it’s difficult to see anyone catching them. Although their congested fixture list round about the time they play us (and Leicester) could cause them problems.
22 Mar 2015 – Manchester United (H) – 0-3 points

The in form team in the Premier League at the moment, but with a few tough games between now and the end of the season.
Likely to drop points against both us and Chelsea, and their clash with Manchester United this weekend could prove crucial.
Six points dropped between now and the end of the campaign.
21 Mar 2015 – West Bromwich Albion (H) – 3 points
06 Apr 2015 – Crystal Palace (A) – 3 points

After their shock 1-0 loss against Burnley in the last gameweek, anything could happen with Manchester City.
They are likely to drop points against both Tottenham and Manchester United, with both of these tricky fixtures played away from home.
At least six points dropped before the end of the season.
22 Mar 2015 – Liverpool (A) – 0-3 points
04 Apr 2015 – Aston Villa (H) – 3 points

Louis van Gaal’s side have one of the toughest ends to the season, and still have to play Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal (not to mention a couple of tricky away fixtures to smaller teams).
Certain to drop a huge number of points between now and the end of May, and are in definite danger of dropping out of the top four.
21 Mar 2015 – Burnley (H) – 3 points
04 Apr 2015 – Everton (A) – 0-3 points
11 Apr 2015 – Hull (H) – 3 points

Unlikely to prove a threat to the top four, as they seem to have predictably tailed off in the second half of the campaign.
I can see them notching up a huge number of draws between now and the end of the season, and while European competition still looks possible, Champions League is out of the question.
21 Mar 2015 – Leicester City (H) – 3 points
05 Apr 2015 – Burnley (A) – 1-3 points
11 Apr 2015 – Aston Villa (H) – 3 points

25 Apr 2015 – Southampton (A) – 0-3 points
02 May 2015 – Manchester City (H) – 0-3 points
09 May 2015 – Stoke City (A) – 0-3 points

Not a hugely difficult end to the season in terms of the teams they will be facing, but there are a number of tricky away games.
Already some way off the pace, it’s looking increasingly unlikely that they can challenge for top four.
A potential eight points dropped before the end of the season.
Chelsea – 88 pts
Arsenal – 80 pts
Manchester City – 79 pts
Liverpool – 75 pts
Manchester United – 71 pts
Tottenham – 69 pts
Southampton – 66 pts
